Great review. I recently smelled the Mango body mist from the Body Shop. Never tried mango scents before and loved this one but of course it only lasted 30 mins. I really liked the freshness of it - not overly sweet or tropical, and no coconut. Just mango… and maybe some aquatic notes? Or light floral. Something just to keep it fresh. I’m looking for something like that. Do any of these samples you list here sound close to that? I’m thinking maybe the 2nd one you reviewed, Shanthi.

Marrakesh is growing on me. At first it was too much, but I am starting to love the sillage it leaves, very sweet rose on me. I love Capri and Maui but all I get from Maldives is the rosemary, I can't smell anything but a sour rosemary, almost smells to me like a sour dish rag, so I can't wear that one.

I don't like neroli either, Gabby. You should do a video of perfumes you like despite them having notes that you struggle with. I don't like plum, but I love Tardes.

Gabby! Not sure if you got it already, but Shaghaf Oud Tonka is now available in the UK again for a reasonable price (I got mine for £54). I just received mine two days ago, but it is definitely very similar to Velvet Tonka. I was on the verge of buying Velvet Tonka (initially I didn’t like it as there was a sharpness to it that bothered me, but it grew on me), but I’m happy I saved myself £100, and the Shaghaf Oud version might even be better as it has less of that sharpness.

have u tried arethusa by Tiziana? OMG....it is HANDS DOWN In my top 3. The BEST citrus fruity scent on earth imo lmao. Long lasting, projects nicely, yet is so gentle feeling. Like a cloud. She is just perfection and no musk like kirke, etc.

Narco Oasis is my fave in summer by far but doesn’t last long. Lionora by Mind Games is another beautiful Passionfruit scent but there is something animalic that I get, but it’s gorgeous. This is my favorite fruit note due to the tartness, just love it!

I have many citrus fragrances, but a video on coconut ones would be great, and the other fruits you could just put together in one 'fruity' selection rather than trying to do a whole list on one note.
